Avionet Aviation Services is a dynamic and rapidly growing MRO company based at Belgrade, Serbia, “Nikola Tesla” international airport. Our commitment to excellence and innovation quickly distinguished us in the industry.
Offering innovative dry washing and polishing services for airliners – a niche that was unfilled in Serbia and the region at the time, we grew, with an aim to diversify our portfolio, adding technical washing services in 2018 and adapting swiftly to provide crucial aircraft disinfection services during the global pandemic.
The year 2021 marked a significant turning point for our company. We began offering push-back and aircraft towing services, having obtained the necessary certificates from the Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia. We made the strategic decision to enter the MRO space, recognizing the growing need for line maintenance services at the Belgrade airport and surrounding countries.
After nearly a year of rigorous preparation, including tools procurement, staff training, and certification processes, we proudly launched our line maintenance operation in mid-2022 under an EASA Part 145 certification. In 2023, we achieved another milestone by obtaining our own independent EASA and national certifications.
Today, Avionet boasts a team of 80 skilled professionals, including aircraft mechanics, engineers, maintenance planners, and administrative staff. We provide line maintenance services for a range of aircraft types, including ATR, Airbus, and Embraer. Our client list includes Serbia’s national airline Air Serbia, as well as international carriers such as EasyJet and Lumiwings.
We take immense pride in our commitment to staff development and training. In 2023 alone, we trained 30 mechanics in-house, offering module courses for various aircraft types and EASA B1 and B2 licenses.
Looking to the future, we’re excited about our plans to construct a new hangar facility at Belgrade airport, which will allow us to expand into base maintenance services for passenger aircraft. We’re also investing in training and equipment to add Boeing aircraft to our capability list.
